It shows that if you can solve one side of an equation for zero, you can see the solutions along the x axis. It shows how to graph using a TI84 series calculator. It also shows checking using the table view and going back to the original equation to test the answers. The background music is Heart of the Matter by Canadian artist Antoine Dufour.
